SUMMER JAM!

Music: Bands, musicians, singers - should Email Mark Fields for a time slot.

Food:Meat: Brisket, Chicken And Sausage also Hamburgers & Hotdogs for the kids. There will be a $5.00/plate Donation for the meat for Adults. Paper Plates, Silverware, Napkins, Salt & Pepper Packets, Table Cloths, Decorations, Warming Trays - will be prvided. Please bring a side dish or desert - WE NEED HELP WITH SIDE DISHES & DESERTS PLEASE! Email Sherri Miller or Glenda Taylor if you can bring a side dish and/or desert.

Let us know what you’re bringing (so we don’t have too much of one thing) Suggestions: Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, Red Beans, Green Beans, Pea Salad, Macaroni Salad, Corn on the Cob, Can Corn, Green Salad, California Medley, Mac & Cheese, Chips for the Burgers & Hotdogs, Chips & Salsa, Platter of (Lettuce, Tomato, pickles),Platter of (Olives, Pickles, Green Onion, Red Onion, Radishes), If you have a specialty side dish, bring it. Hotdog & Hamburger Buns, Loafs of Bread. Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, Cold Drinks and Ice. Deserts - Peach Cobbler, Pies, Cakes, Banana Pudding, Cookies, Fudge.

Fun:Brandy Miller will be in charge of all activities. Horseshoes, Fishing – 30# line needed for Ponds, Hay Rides: For the kids, Sack Races, And More. Kids can bring baseballs, footballs, frisbees, etc.

ALcohol:Permitted - BYOB - but remember the kids please and conduct yourselves accordingly.

Directions: TAKE I-45 SOUTH AND GO ABOUT 23 MILES FROM DOWNTOWN DALLAS. TAKE THE 5TH STREET EXIT IN FERRIS…
IT WILL BE AFTER THE MALLOY BRIDGE ROAD EXIT.
TAKE THE SERVICE ROAD TO THE STOP SIGN NEXT TO THE DIAMOND SHAMROCK AND TURN RIGHT.
GO DOWN TO THE NEXT STOP SIGN TURN LEFT. AT THE NEXT STOP SIGN TURN RIGHT.
GO OVER THE RAILROAD TRACKS AND CONTINUE STRAIGHT THROUGH THE DOWNTOWN AREA.
GO DOWN PAST DOWNTOWN AND YOU WILL COME OUT BY THE POST OFFICE AND THE CAR WASH ON YOUR RIGHT GET IN THE TURN LANE ACROSS FROM THE CAR WASH AND TURN LEFT, YOU ARE NOW ON FM 983, THERE SHOULD BE A CEMETARY ON YOUR RIGHT. GO DOWN ABOUT 4 1/2 MILES AND YOU’LL COME
TO A CHURCH ON YOUR LEFT CALLED NEW BEGINNINGS BIBLE CHURCH TURN LEFT ON THAT STREET
WHICH IS PALMYRA RD. GO DOWN TO ANOTHER SHARP CORNER AND THEN THE ROAD GOES EITHER TO
THE LEFT OR CONTINUES STRAIGHT, GO STRAIGHT. GO DOWN LESS THAN A HALF A MILE AND YOU
WILL COME TO ALVIS LANE (IT ONLY GOES TO THE LEFT). GO DOWN ALL THE WAY EVEN WHEN THE
ROAD TURNS TO GRAVEL. YOU WILL SEE A BLUE WAREHOUSE ON THE LEFT, KEEP GOING STRAIGHT.
THE ROAD WILL DEAD END INTO OUR HOUSE, WHITE WITH BLUE TRIM AND FENCE AROUND IT.
